In addition to affordability, certain U.S. cities stand out for offering significant discounts during the fall season. According to Airbnb, cities such as Myrtle Beach, SC, Norfolk, VA, and Bangor, ME, have seen substantial reductions in accommodation costs. The report highlights these locations as prime destinations for travelers looking to experience the autumn season at a lower price, making them appealing options for budget-conscious travelers.
The report also notes a shift in travel patterns driven by events and seasonal attractions. “Event-cations,” or travel centered around events like festivals or concerts, have gained popularity.
