Instacart and ALDI U.S. announced on March 26 the launch of a redesigned ALDI website and mobile app, aiming to provide customers across the United States with a more streamlined online grocery shopping experience.

The updated digital platforms are intended to make it easier for shoppers to find, purchase, and receive their favorite ALDI products through enhanced personalization and improved fulfillment services.

Instacart is now the exclusive fulfillment partner for both aldi.us and the ALDI app. The new experience is powered by Instacart’s Storefront Pro enterprise commerce platform, which integrates personalized product recommendations, expanded meal planning support via shoppable recipes, and faster delivery options including curbside pickup. Ryan Hamburger, Vice President of Commercial Partnerships at Instacart, said: “ALDI is known for offering their customers incredible value, and we’re proud to partner with them to make sure that value translates seamlessly into their digital experience. What makes this partnership special is that it goes beyond ecommerce. By combining Storefront Pro and fulfillment into one integrated platform, we’re helping ALDI U.S. scale faster while preserving everything that makes their brand special. We’re proud to deepen our partnership and support their continued expansion across the U.S.”

Dave Rinaldo, Chief Operating Officer at ALDI U.S., said: “Shoppers define value in more ways than one — often by saving both time and money. As customers look for more flexibility, our partnership with Instacart enhances the ALDI online experience, giving the 1-in-3 U.S. households that shop our aisles another convenient way to get their groceries when and how they want.”

The companies have worked together since 2017 when they first offered same-day delivery on the Instacart Marketplace in the United States. Since then, additional solutions have been introduced connecting online services with in-store experiences across over 2,600 stores nationwide.

According to information from both companies included in this announcement, Storefront Pro unifies retailer websites, apps, and in-store touchpoints using artificial intelligence-powered discovery tools combined with integrated fulfillment technology as part of a broader suite called Instacart Enterprise.

The upgraded website (aldi.us) and mobile app are now available nationally.
