Amazon announced on May 13 the start of its Everyday Essentials Week, a sales event aimed at helping customers save money on frequently used products. The event runs until May 19 and is available to customers on Amazon.es, offering thousands of deals in categories such as household cleaning, health, beauty, personal care, baby products, and pantry items.

The company said this initiative is designed for shoppers looking to restock daily essentials or try new products. According to a HarrisX study for Amazon cited in the announcement, “57% of consumers say they take advantage of sales events to buy everyday products.” To help customers keep track of offers during the event, Amazon recommends setting up alerts through its app or website for recently searched or viewed items. Customers can also add items to their wish lists and receive notifications when those products go on sale.

“Descubre las ofertas de la Semana de básicos del día a día de Amazon en https://www.amazon.es/everydayessentials,” the company said in its statement.

Amazon strives to be Earth’s most customer-focused company while aiming to be the best employer and safest workplace, according to its official website. The company provides services including online shopping, cloud computing, streaming entertainment, digital devices and advertising. It operates across e-commerce and technology services with retail and digital offerings according to its official website.
