Amazon has announced its upcoming Prime Day event, scheduled to run from July 8 through July 11. The four-day event will offer Prime members an extended period to access a wide array of deals across more than 35 categories, including fashion, beauty, groceries, and electronics. The company promises its lowest prices of the year on top brands such as Sony, Dyson, and Living Proof.

Early deals are available now in various categories like BBQ essentials starting at $3 and grocery items under $5. Additionally, Amazon offers early school shopping options with tech must-haves starting at $15 and up to 50% off college essentials.

“New this year, we’re offering exclusive deals including fuel discounts for summer travel,” said Jamil Ghani, vice president of Amazon Prime. He emphasized the enhanced Prime for Young Adults membership that provides new perks for those aged 18–24.

Amazon is also focusing on back-to-school shopping with its dedicated Back to School and Off to College Shops. Deals include savings on school supplies and exclusive offers in categories like laptops and books.

Non-Prime members are encouraged to join or start a free trial to participate in the event. Young adults can take advantage of a six-month free trial of the newly relaunched Prime for Young Adults program.

Ahead of the main event, Amazon is offering early savings on its own brands and select devices. Small businesses will also feature prominently during Prime Day with over 60% of sales coming from independent sellers.

Fuel savings are part of this year’s offerings with discounts available at bp, Amoco, and ampm locations during the Fourth of July weekend. Grocery deals are available as well through special subscriptions that offer free delivery on orders over $35.

Other features include cash-back opportunities with Amazon’s credit cards and entertainment deals through Grubhub+ and Kindle Unlimited. A new advertising campaign featuring LeBron James highlights how Prime Day can help customers explore new interests with millions of exclusive deals.

The global reach of Prime Day will extend to countries including Australia, Germany, Japan, Spain, Turkey, the U.S., among others from July 8. Additional markets such as Brazil and India will have access later in the summer.

Amazon continues its commitment to customer satisfaction by offering comprehensive services under its Prime membership program which includes fast delivery options among other benefits.
