Amazon Prime Video is set to expand its streaming library in March with a variety of new content, including series, films, and live sports. This update comes as Amazon MGM Studios announces a new joint venture with Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli for the James Bond franchise rights. The partnership will allow Amazon MGM Studios to gain creative control over the iconic series once the transaction is finalized.

Prime Video subscribers can look forward to several anticipated releases this month. The third season of “The Wheel of Time,” featuring Rosamund Pike and Daniel Henney, will premiere on March 13. The show introduces new cast members Shohreh Aghdashloo and Olivia Williams.

On March 6, viewers can watch “For the Win: NWSL,” a docuseries following the National Women’s Soccer League’s 2024 season with stars like Alex Morgan and Marta. That same day, “Picture This,” a romantic comedy starring Simone Ashley and Hero Fiennes Tiffin, will also be available.

Prime Video’s coverage of live sports includes the start of the NWSL Challenge Cup on March 7 and continues with regular-season games throughout the year. Additionally, Iliza Shlesinger’s stand-up special “A Different Animal” debuts on March 11.

Other notable additions include “Last One Laughing UK” hosted by Jimmy Carr on March 20, Tyler Perry’s thriller “Duplicity” on the same day, and the final season of “Bosch: Legacy” starring Titus Welliver premiering on March 27.

Amazon has also introduced new technology products such as the Fire TV Omni Mini-LED Series and Alexa+, an AI-powered personal assistant that comes free with Prime membership.

March sees an extensive list of movies being added to Prime Video’s catalog starting from classic films like “12 Angry Men” (1997) to more recent releases such as “Fast X.”
