This membership provides free and fast delivery from the U.S. on millions of items, access to Prime Video with local and global content, exclusive deals including Prime Day, and gaming benefits through Prime Gaming.

Jamil Ghani, Worldwide Vice President of Amazon Prime, stated: “We are thrilled to introduce Amazon Prime to Colombia, bringing our world-class shopping and entertainment benefits to Colombian customers.” He highlighted the convenience and value that this service aims to provide to Colombian members.

The launch includes a dedicated local membership accessible via amazon.com/amazonprime. Benefits include free delivery within five days on millions of products without a minimum order value. The membership also grants access to exclusive deals and events like Prime Day. Popular shows such as “Betty la Fea” and other Amazon Originals will be available on Prime Video.

María Isabel Figueroa, Head of Prime Video in Colombia, expressed excitement about expanding their offerings: “Colombian audiences have enthusiastically embraced local original productions…and now Prime members can enjoy these beloved shows along with comprehensive shopping and entertainment benefits at no additional cost.”

Amazon’s presence in Colombia has grown since it began offering free international shipping in 2019. The company has over 2,500 employees in the country and continues to expand its services including AWS operations.

Amazon Prime Colombia can be accessed via desktop, mobile browsers, or the Amazon app. New users with a Colombian address can try the service for free for 30 days.
