Amazon has introduced its 2025 Holiday Kids Gift Book, aiming to merge traditional catalog browsing with interactive digital experiences for families. The company says the arrival of the book at homes across the country marks the start of a holiday season that encourages children and parents to explore gift options both in print and online.

The new edition allows families to search for gifts by age, interest, character, and recommendations from Amazon’s annual Toys We Love list. This year’s list features a variety of products such as LEGO sets, Barbie dolls, Toniebox audio players, and more. Amazon notes that these selections highlight current toy trends and are designed to help shoppers find suitable gifts for every child.

The catalog also integrates technology through partnerships with platforms like ReadyLand and Roblox. Families can participate in “Great Holiday Climb” on Roblox—a virtual experience where users complete weekly challenges and earn rewards within a digital version of the catalog’s woodland world. Players have opportunities to purchase real-world items without leaving the game environment.

Interactive storytelling is another feature this year. By using an Alexa-enabled device or app and saying “Alexa, open Readyland,” children can engage with stories that correspond to pages in the physical catalog. According to Amazon, “With a simple ‘Alexa, open Readyland’ prompt, our forest friends leap from the page into audio adventures, creating an interactive storytelling experience that evolves with each reading.” The narrative changes based on which page is being explored.

Amazon has also expanded its virtual toy store for 2025. The store now includes an outdoor holiday market theme featuring over 200 toys alongside visual elements from the gift book’s woodland characters.

Some characters from the printed catalog have been turned into tangible products such as exclusive Squishmallow plush toys and themed pajamas available through Amazon Essentials. There are also puzzles based on cover art so families can spend time together during the holidays.

For those interested in recent entertainment releases, certain items in this year’s gift book reference “Wicked: For Good.” Shoppers can visit OzOnAmazon.com for merchandise related to this theatrical release—including toys and beauty products—further connecting shopping with current cultural events.

Prime members will be able to purchase early tickets for “Wicked: For Good” screenings exclusively via Fandango before its official theater debut.

As Black Friday approaches later in November 2025, Amazon continues efforts to provide multiple ways for customers to discover gifts—from immersive catalogs to virtual marketplaces—bridging physical traditions with digital convenience.
