According to Amazon, the total compensation for these roles exceeds $29 per hour when including benefits. In 2024 alone, the company invested more than $2.2 billion in wage increases, marking its largest annual investment to date. Employees also gain access to comprehensive health coverage, paid leave, and financial wellness resources from their first day of employment.

The company has created more than 1.5 million jobs globally and over 900,000 in the U.S. over the past five years. It is also exploring hybrid models and flexible scheduling options for eligible roles to adapt to evolving operational needs while providing local employment opportunities.

Amazon offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, mental health support, and a 401(k) plan with company match. Eligible employees can also participate in programs like Career Choice, which pre-pays tuition for upskilling in high-demand fields. These benefits are available to full-time, part-time, and seasonal employees from their first day at work.

Founded in 1994, Amazon is a global technology company operating across various sectors including e-commerce, logistics, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence. It employs more than 1.5 million people worldwide and maintains one of the largest private-sector employment networks in the United States.
