Amazon Web Services (AWS) has expanded its training portfolio to include courses focused on generative artificial intelligence (AI), aiming to help individuals and businesses leverage AI in their operations. This move aligns with Amazon’s longstanding focus on artificial intelligence and machine learning, which have been integral to the company’s services for over 25 years.

Generative AI is seen as a transformative tool that can enhance efficiency, productivity, and innovation. As industries continue to evolve, there is a growing demand for cloud expertise. The World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report 2023 highlights that over 75% of organizations intend to integrate big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence within the next five years.

AWS provides six game-based training experiences designed to enhance cloud skills through interactive learning methods. Research indicates that such approaches lead to improved knowledge retention.

The new training courses are tailored for individuals across various roles and experience levels. AWS aims to equip both nontechnical and technical learners, decision-makers, and AWS Partners with the necessary skills to utilize the latest advancements in AI/ML technology. The courses are available at no cost or at a low cost and offer flexibility in learning pace and style—from short, on-demand videos to hands-on challenges within a secure AWS sandbox environment.

The training offerings cater specifically to different roles: nontechnical users, developers, technical experts, and business professionals. However, anyone interested can enroll in any course offered by AWS.
