Discussing her inspiration for entering the logistics field, she stated, “I’m naturally an analytical thinker, which allows me to optimize processes and plan strategically in logistics—all while ensuring goods move efficiently every day.” Her career, though dynamic, has faced challenges, particularly during the pandemic and subsequent industry shifts.
She expressed pride in her team’s growth, noting, “My team has recently grown, and seeing them collaborate, support each other, and confidently make decisions on rates has been a huge accomplishment for me.” For women considering a logistics career, she advised focusing on problem-solving skills and networking, urging them to maintain confidence in themselves.
A significant influence in her career has been her mother, from whom she learned not to settle. She shared her mother’s advice: “Never regret the shots you take, whether they lead to positive or negative lessons.”
Among the best career advice she has received is to give her best effort daily: “No matter what you choose to do, give it your best each and every day.” Reflecting on her career transition from public accounting to logistics, she revealed, “The knowledge I gained there has given me a unique perspective.”
Finally, she shared an inspirational quote: “Don’t ever stop believing in yourself on the good days, the bad days or every day.”
