Hansel Moore II, a tech sales professional and content creator from Dallas, transformed his need for a dedicated production studio into a profitable side business. Initially intended for his own creative projects, the space quickly evolved into a rental studio through Peerspace.
Hansel’s success was recently highlighted in Entrepreneur magazine. He operates two YouTube channels: Simply Tech HD and Hansel Moore II, which required a large professional environment for filming. In June 2024, he established a studio designed with updated features like a cyc wall and top-tier equipment. He navigated zoning approvals and construction challenges to set up his first physical location.
His strategic planning paid off as the studio generated over $3,500 in its first month of operation via Peerspace rentals. The facility has become popular among photographers and videographers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Hansel manages the business efficiently, dedicating only about two hours per week to it. “Peerspace makes it so easy—I don’t have to worry about handling payments, contracts, or back-and-forth scheduling,” he noted.
By 2025, Hansel is setting new booking records with expectations of doubling last year’s revenue. Beyond financial gains, he values the relationships formed with creatives using his space. “I’ve built great relationships with past guests—many of whom I now collaborate with on projects,” he said.
Hansel advises aspiring entrepreneurs to trust their vision and remain patient. “Believe in yourself, trust your vision, and love what you do,” he shared.
