DoorDash has announced the launch of a new in-app reservation feature, allowing users to book tables at local restaurants directly through its platform. The rollout begins on iOS devices in Miami, with plans to expand to New York City and Las Vegas in the coming weeks.

Through partnerships with various restaurants, DoorDash aims to provide customers access to popular dining spots in their city. Some of the Miami establishments available for reservation include Ariete, Pari Pari, Casadonna, Maple & Ash Miami, Palma, Uchi Miami, and Uchiko Miami. Additional venues such as CASA NEOS and MILA will become available soon.

To mark the introduction of this service, DoorDash is offering exclusive dining experiences that can only be booked via its app. Among these events are an eight-course omakase dinner at Uchiko Miami Beach on November 6, a French-Mediterranean event curated by Chef Michael Michaelidis at CLAUDIE on November 13, a Mediterranean-inspired menu at CASA NEOS on November 20, and a MediterrAsian tasting experience at MILA on December 18.

“Stay tuned for special offerings, limited-time events and premium unique tables within the app that you won’t find anywhere else,” the company stated.

Customers who use DoorDash Reservations will earn credits toward future orders. For a limited time during launch, users receive $10 in credits after attending their reservation; DashPass members receive $12. According to DoorDash: “Your next great dining experience helps pay for your next delivery, so you can turn every outing into a chance to save.”

Additional benefits for DashPass members include access to exclusive tables and experiences as well as discounted Lyft Black rides to their reservations.

Booking through the app involves selecting the new Reservations icon on the homepage, filtering options by location or restaurant name, choosing preferred dates and times, and confirming details before finalizing the booking. After completing their meal and payment at participating restaurants, customers receive their earned credits within the app.

DoorDash encourages users interested in securing reservations and earning rewards to visit its app for more information.
