Enclave Coworking, a suburban-focused coworking space operator, announced that it has surpassed 40 open locations nationwide with the opening of its newest site in historic downtown McKinney, Texas.
“Opening our 40th location in McKinney just six years after our first site in Glen Ellyn is a milestone we’re incredibly proud of,” said Robert Kellman, Founder and CEO of Enclave Coworking. “Suburban professionals told us they wanted a premium workspace close to home — not in the city — and the market has responded. We’re seeing strong demand for private offices and dedicated desks in walkable downtowns where people actually live and raise families.”
The McKinney location, which opened on Feb. 18, 2026, expands Enclave’s network, which began with its first site in Glen Ellyn, Illinois in 2020 and now spans markets including Chicagoland, Texas, the DMV region, Southern California, and the Boston area.
Enclave said it targets suburban downtowns where hybrid workers prefer access to office space without commuting into major city centers. Its locations typically offer private offices, dedicated desks, and flexible coworking spaces designed for individuals, small teams, and entrepreneurs.
“These new markets were chosen because they perfectly match our model: affluent suburbs with limited high-quality workspace options,” Kellman said. “Our goal is to become the dominant suburban coworking platform in every major metro where hybrid workers live.”
The company raised $4.2 million in Series A funding in 2025 to support its expansion strategy. It also has additional locations under contract for 2026, including planned openings in Braintree, Massachusetts in the spring; Fairfax, Virginia in the summer; Culver City, California in the fall; and Hinsdale, Illinois later in the year.
With more than 40 locations now open and additional sites planned, Enclave continues to grow its presence in suburban markets aligned with hybrid work trends.
