Etsy announced on May 20 that its executives will take part in the Bernstein’s 42nd Annual Strategic Decisions Conference in New York. A webcast fireside chat is scheduled for May 27 at 1:30 p.m. Eastern Time, and investors can listen to it through the company’s investor relations website.

The conference appearance gives Etsy an opportunity to engage with investors and discuss company developments. The event is part of Etsy’s ongoing efforts to communicate with shareholders and provide updates about its business activities.

Etsy operates online marketplaces that connect creative entrepreneurs with buyers worldwide. The company’s main platform, Etsy.com, offers unique goods crafted by independent sellers. According to the announcement, “These marketplaces share a mission to ‘Keep Commerce Human,’ and we’re committed to using the power of business and technology to strengthen communities and empower people.” For sellers, Etsy provides various tools and services aimed at supporting their businesses.

In addition to its primary marketplace, Etsy owns Depop, a fashion resale platform. However, on February 15, Etsy entered into an agreement to sell Depop to eBay; this transaction remains subject to regulatory approval and other closing conditions as outlined in the Sale and Purchase Agreement.

Founded in 2005, Etsy is headquartered in Brooklyn, New York. The company said it uses its Investor Relations website and News Blog as channels for disclosing material information: “Accordingly, you should monitor our investor relations website and the Etsy News Blog in addition to following our press releases, SEC filings, and public conference calls and webcasts.”
