EVERSANA has announced the introduction of EVERSANA ORCHESTRATE MLR, a new AI-powered platform aimed at transforming the Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) process for the life sciences industry. According to the company, the platform automates up to 90 percent of common tasks in the review process, promising improved efficiency and compliance.

The solution is developed on Amazon Bedrock and integrates with Veeva PromoMats, as part of a collaboration with Modus Create, EVERSANA’s internal experts, and Veeva. Jim Lang, CEO of EVERSANA, remarked on the platform’s potential impact: “EVERSANA ORCHESTRATE MLR is a game-changer for the life science industry. Through the power of AI and our collaborations with leading technology providers and in-house MLR experts, we’ve set a new standard for efficiency, compliance, and quality that is much needed in today’s industry.”

Traditional MLR review processes are typically manual, involving extensive checks on marketing materials against regulatory information. EVERSANA’s platform automates claim identification and management, potentially speeding up content updates by 90 percent. This change is expected to halve the time needed for content reviews.

The use of Amazon Bedrock AI aims to address administrative burdens in the healthcare sector. Dan Sheeran, AWS’s general manager for Healthcare and Life Sciences, highlighted the role of AI: “Generative AI is transforming the life sciences industry by accelerating R&D, improving efficiency in manufacturing, and streamlining the path to commercialization…our collaboration with EVERSANA demonstrates how AI technology is delivering solutions that not only solve long-standing industry challenges but also bring better therapies to patients faster.”

As part of EVERSANA ORCHESTRATE Operating System, the platform ensures high standards of compliance and accuracy while being part of EVERSANA’s broader commercialization services. Early piloting with several life sciences companies indicated significant efficiencies, including an 86 percent reduction in submission errors and potential cost savings of 35 percent for teams using the platform.

According to EVERSANA, the platform connects with their full range of services, aiming to deliver sustainable value throughout the product life cycle. The company serves over 650 organizations, fostering innovation in the life sciences sector.
