Fiverr has announced its acquisition of AutoDS, a company offering a subscription-based solution for dropshipping. AutoDS provides services such as product research, inventory management, and automated fulfillment.

AutoDS, founded in 2018, offers a platform that aggregates over 150 million products and serves tens of thousands of subscribers. The service automates dropshipping by sourcing products from channels like Amazon and eBay, featuring a dashboard for monitoring multiple stores and automatic price updates. According to a press release by Fiverr, AutoDS also supports freelancers and businesses in e-commerce by offering tools such as AutoDS AIWrite for optimizing product listings.

“AutoDS has built an impressive product and community that is highly synergetic with Fiverr. Dropshipping and its adjacent services in marketing and programming verticals are some of the fastest growing categories on Fiverr. It is also a community that is deeply rooted in Fiverr’s origin, where anyone with talent and idea can leverage Fiverr’s platform to build a business,” said founder and CEO of Fiverr, Micha Kaufman. “This acquisition also marks another step in Fiverr’s transformation from a marketplace into a powerful platform that offers not only access to talent but also software solutions for its audience, making it a one-stop shop for their entire digital needs.”

Fiverr offers a range of services from a pool of freelancers to complete their projects with project-based pricing. Payment is only required upon satisfaction with the delivered work, backed by 24/7 customer support for any assistance needed. According to the Fiverr webpage, the company offers services in graphics and design, digital marketing, writing and translation, video and animation, music and audio, programming and tech, business, lifestyle, data, and photography; Fiverr Pro provides access to freelancers and professional tools while Fiverr Certified enables the creation of branded marketplaces featuring certified experts.
