Grammarly has discontinued its free trial offer and now provides a forever-free plan accessible to all users, according to information released on June 2. Users interested in upgrading can receive a 20% discount on all Grammarly plans via an official link provided by Demand Sage, reducing the cost of Grammarly Pro to $9.60 per month for both new and existing customers.

The company recently merged its Premium and Business plans into a single offering called Grammarly Pro. Those with existing Premium accounts will be transitioned to the new plan by the end of the year without changes in billing amounts. Demand Sage continues to offer its 20% discount for this combined subscription.

There is currently no free trial available for individual or student users, although educational institutions may access Grammarly Pro through institutional licenses. Students cannot sign up individually for these educational licenses; only institutions are eligible.

Key features of Grammarly Pro include an advanced grammar checker, tone suggestions, generative AI capabilities with up to 2,000 prompts per month, analytics tools for teams, authorship verification features, and an AI detector integrated within the plagiarism checker. The pricing structure remains unchanged from previous offerings: monthly subscriptions are $30 per member, quarterly at $20, and annual at $12 per member without discounts applied.

For those considering alternatives due to price or lack of a free trial, options such as ProWritingAid, Quillbot, and Hemingway App are suggested as substitutes with varying starting prices and limited-time trials. However, integration ease across apps remains cited as a benefit of continuing with Grammarly when using available discounts.

Users interested in securing the discounted rate have two days after clicking the official link to claim their offer.
