GreenPal has released its 2025 Vendor Reliability Index, providing new data on the reliability of lawn care providers using its platform. According to the company, out of more than 8,300 vendors tracked, there was an overall on-time reliability rate of 93.15%. The report also found that 7,737 vendors maintained at least 80% reliability during their first five appointments.

“Across more than 8,300 vendors, the overall on-time reliability rate came in at 93.15%. Even more telling, 7,737 vendors maintained 80% or better reliability during their first five appointments,” the company said in its announcement.

The index measures vendor performance in timeliness and outlines how quickly unreliable providers are removed from GreenPal’s network. In total, GreenPal reports that it has suspended 20,729 vendors for not meeting standards. Of those suspensions, about three-quarters (74.39%) occurred after only three missed appointments.

“20,729 vendors have been suspended from the platform. 74.39% of suspensions happened after just three failed appointments,” according to GreenPal.

The data suggests that homeowners booking through GreenPal are likely to experience consistent service as unreliable providers are removed rapidly from the platform.

A select group of high-volume companies stands out: among 131 providers with over 3,000 completed jobs each, only eleven reached a punctuality rate above 95%. These top performers make up GreenPal’s list of most reliable lawn care companies.

The company emphasizes that service reliability impacts property appearance and value as well as homeowner convenience and trust between clients and service professionals.

“Reliability in lawn care isn’t just about avoiding frustration. It affects your property, your schedule, and your peace of mind,” the release states.

Homeowners are advised to review customer feedback patterns before hiring and to maintain clear communication with their chosen providers to further improve odds of reliable service. The platform offers tools for rebooking preferred vendors easily and removing underperformers from consideration.

GreenPal says its filtering process keeps improving vendor quality over time by prioritizing accountability and consistency for customers across various locations in the United States.

Attributing these findings to data collected from more than 130 vendors and over 30,000 appointments between 2022 and 2025, GreenPal concludes that most users can expect dependable lawn care when booking through their system.

“The data shows that the majority of GreenPal vendors consistently meet or exceed customer expectations, with more than nine out of ten showing up on time. The few who don’t maintain these standards are quickly removed, ensuring homeowners are always connected with professionals they can count on.”
