GreenPal, a technology-driven lawn care platform, has reported that the fastest time recorded from user signup to completed mowing service is 59 minutes and 11 seconds. This record was achieved when a homeowner’s request coincided with a nearby vendor finishing another job, allowing for an almost immediate response through the GreenPal system.

According to GreenPal, while not every booking will be completed within an hour, same-day service is common for many users of the platform. The company states this approach contrasts with traditional lawn care services where customers often wait days to secure an appointment or even receive a quote.

“Fastest mow ever on GreenPal: 59 minutes, 11 seconds from signup to completion,” the company noted in its announcement.

GreenPal says its service is especially useful for last-minute needs such as broken mowers, HOA warnings, or unexpected guests. The system connects homeowners and local vendors rapidly by alerting professionals in the area once a request is submitted. Vendors then review job details and send quotes directly through the app.

The company highlighted several scenarios where fast lawn care can be important: preparing for events like parties or cookouts, addressing Homeowners Association (HOA) notices about grass height, dealing with broken equipment, or making yards presentable before last-minute visitors arrive.

Regarding pricing, GreenPal explains that users do not typically pay extra for faster service. “Vendors set their own bids for jobs, and often the fastest service comes simply because: A great vendor is already mowing in your neighborhood. A pro has a gap in their schedule and wants to fill it. Competition between vendors keeps pricing fair.” The price may vary based on factors like lawn size or terrain but not due solely to speed of service.

The technology behind GreenPal’s platform enables instant communication between customers and local providers by notifying vendors immediately when a new request is made. Customers can then choose among available bids and schedule work at their convenience.

In most cities and suburban neighborhoods served by GreenPal—including locations such as San Diego, California and West Palm Beach, Florida—same-day mowing is common due to multiple available vendors. In more rural areas with fewer providers, next-day matches are typical.

“While you may never break the 59-minute record,” the company stated in its release, “you’ll gain peace of mind knowing that a fresh-cut lawn is just a few clicks away.”

Recurring services are also available via the app; users can schedule weekly, bi-weekly or monthly maintenance without needing to rebook each time.
