The adult animated musical series “Hazbin Hotel” will return for a second season on Prime Video. The new season, created by Vivienne Medrano, is set to premiere exclusively on October 29 and will include eight episodes. Two episodes will be released each week until November 19.

The show centers on Charlie Morningstar, the princess of Hell, who tries to rehabilitate demons in an effort to reduce overpopulation in her kingdom. The plot follows her efforts after a yearly extermination carried out by angels, as she opens a hotel with hopes that its patrons can eventually move on to Heaven. Supporting characters include Vaggie and Angel Dust, while the Radio Demon becomes involved in Charlie’s mission.

Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy joins the cast this season as Abel, alongside four new cast members. Returning voice actors include Erika Henningsen as Charlie Morningstar, Stephanie Beatriz as Vaggie, Amir Talai as Alastor the Radio Demon, Alex Brightman as Sir Pentious/Adam, Blake Roman as Angel Dust, Keith David as Husk, Kimiko Glenn as Niffty, Jeremy Jordan as Lucifer Morningstar, Christian Borle as Vox, Joel Perez as Valentino, Lilli Cooper as Velvette, Jessica Vosk as Lute, Kevin Del Aguila as Baxter, Alex Newell as Zeezi, Liz Callaway as The Speaker of God and Andrew Durand as Prick.

Season 1 is currently available for streaming. Prime Video can be accessed through web browsers or via the Prime Video app on various compatible devices. Access to Prime Video is included with an Amazon Prime membership which costs $14.99 per month or $139 annually; discounted memberships are offered for young adults and qualifying government assistance recipients at half price.

“Hazbin Hotel” originated from Medrano’s popular animated YouTube show launched in 2019 that quickly gained over 117 million views globally.

Prime Video has already ordered two additional seasons beyond Season 2 of “Hazbin Hotel.” The platform also offers a range of movies, series and live sports content.
