Maintenance Required, a new romantic comedy, will be available for streaming on Prime Video starting Wednesday, October 8. The film follows Charlie, played by Madelaine Petsch, who owns an all-female mechanic shop and faces uncertainty when a corporate competitor opens nearby. Seeking support, she confides in an anonymous online friend who turns out to be Beau (Jacob Scipio), her business rival.
The cast also includes Madison Bailey, Katy O’Brian, Inanna Sarkis, Matteo Lane, and Jim Gaffigan. Lacey Uhlemeyer directs the film and co-wrote the script with Roo Berry and Erin Falconer.
Prime Video is included with an Amazon Prime membership, which costs $14.99 per month or $139 annually. Membership benefits include access to streaming content as well as fast shipping and exclusive deals from Amazon. Discounted Prime memberships are available for young adults aged 18–24 and college students at half the regular price after a six-month trial period. Government-assistance recipients can try Prime Access for 30 days before paying a reduced monthly fee.
