Instacart has announced the rollout of new business features for its white-label e-commerce solutions, Storefront and Storefront Pro. Retailers such as Woodman’s Markets are already using these enhancements to better serve business customers through their own online platforms.

The company stated that these features, previously available only on the Instacart App for Instacart Business customers, are now accessible to all retailers using Storefront and Storefront Pro. The tools aim to help organizations like restaurants, offices, healthcare facilities, and schools manage bulk orders and team-based purchasing directly from retailer websites and apps.

“Instacart is committed to building a best-in-class e-commerce platform that helps retailers grow their online business,” said Ryan Hamburger, Vice President of Retail Partnerships at Instacart. “Expanding business features to retailers’ customers on their sites is part of our ongoing investment in enhancing retailer sites with tools that deliver added value and unlock new revenue from business customers. With more than one million business customers who have ordered from Instacart in the past year¹, we’re making it easier for retailers to capture more of this growing demand.”

The new capabilities include bulk ordering by case, multi-user management with customizable permissions for roles such as admins or buyers, account dashboards for order tracking and spend management, shopping guides for frequently purchased items, controls for spending limits and approval workflows, as well as reconciliation tools like bulk receipt exports. Businesses can also share an Instacart+ subscription among team members and receive 2% cash back on qualifying large orders.

Hundreds of retailers across the Instacart Platform have adopted these features. URM Cash & Carry will soon launch on the Instacart App to reach businesses seeking these functionalities.

Storefront and Storefront Pro are components of the broader Instacart Platform suite designed to support retailers’ online and in-store operations. Since its launch in 2023, Instacart Business has served over one million business customers by helping them streamline procurement processes.
