Amazon announced that its Buy with Prime service and Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) have contributed to notable growth in average order value and shopper conversion for JLab Electronics. According to Amazon, JLab experienced a 37% increase in average order value for Buy with Prime orders compared to standard direct-to-consumer orders.

Ryan Carlson, Ecommerce Growth Manager at JLab, said, “Before enabling Amazon MCF and Buy with Prime on our site, we weren’t able to keep up with customer demand, let alone offer Prime shopping benefits on our site. For shoppers who might not be familiar with our brand, being able to use the trust of Prime on our site removes any worry.”

Buy with Prime allows Prime members to shop directly from brands’ online stores using their Prime benefits. For JLab, this feature resulted in a year-over-year 37% increase in average order value as shoppers responded to the Prime shopping experience on JLab’s website.

JLab also implemented Amazon MCF, which lets brands use Amazon’s fulfillment network for orders from sales channels beyond Amazon.com. The company reported a 55% increase in website conversion rate during the first month of displaying fast delivery badges based on real-time ZIP code estimates. After using Amazon MCF to distribute inventory regionally, JLab’s average delivery time dropped to about 1.5 days—nearly 200% faster than the electronics category average of five days.

Peter Larsen, Vice President of Amazon Multichannel Commerce & Fulfillment, stated, “Like good music and JLab headphones, Buy with Prime and Amazon MCF work in harmony—one builds trust, the other delivers on it. Double-digit growth in order value and conversion? That’s music to anyone’s ears.”

Buy with Prime launched in 2022 to help direct-to-consumer merchants improve customer acquisition and retention by offering fast delivery and other benefits. According to Amazon, 50% of Prime members are more likely to buy again from DTC sites that offer Prime shopping benefits, and 95% of shoppers who have used Buy with Prime indicated they would use it again. Merchants receive order information such as email addresses to support customer service and build direct relationships.

Amazon MCF provides brands access to Amazon’s fulfillment network across all sales channels. Average click-to-door speeds using MCF are over 50% faster than other retailers. In the United States, merchants using both Amazon MCF and Fulfillment by Amazon reduced out-of-stock rates by an average of 19% and improved inventory turnover by 12%.
