Jolene, a recent recipient of the Agent of the Month award, has been recognized for her positive influence within the medical transportation program. From her first day, she has demonstrated enthusiasm and dedication, inspiring both colleagues and leaders. The team that nominated her stated:

“Jolene has been a cheerleader of the program from day one. She was in the very first class and jumped in with both feet. Jolene is an inspiration to all of the other agents. We truly appreciate the positivity that Jolene spreads to the agents and the agent community every day. On top of her cheerful attitude that we can always count on, Jolene is meeting all of the client-required metrics and maintaining flawless Average Handle Time (AHT). Thank you, Jolene, for your dedication and positive impact on the program!”

Despite being new to Liveops, Jolene brings 37 years of customer service experience. Her remote work journey began in 2008 after being laid off during an economic downturn. Discovering work-from-home opportunities allowed her to continue helping others from home.

“It helps with social anxiety, and I get to do what I love—helping people—while being in the comfort of my own home,” she shared. “Being my own boss and setting my own hours was something I never realized I needed until I had it.”

Currently, Jolene assists individuals by arranging rides for essential medical appointments as part of a medical transportation provider’s services.

“Some of these are life-sustaining trips,” she said. “It’s rewarding to know that I’m playing a role in helping people get the care they need.”

Jolene values not only her work but also her community within the program: “The program managers, ARAs, and fellow agents make this experience even more amazing. They truly are the best!”

She emphasizes self-discipline as crucial for success as an independent contractor working from home:

“It can be easy to get distracted when working from home, but staying focused is key. The only way to fail is to quit,” she emphasized.

In addition to her professional commitments, Jolene enjoys indulging in chocolate brownies topped with ice cream when she’s not working.

“My kids are my biggest inspiration,” she noted about her family motivation. “Watching them grow into hardworking young adults and seeing them take the values I’ve taught them into their own lives is something I’m incredibly proud of.”

Her commitment has made a significant impact on those around her at Liveops.
