Lisa has been named agent of the month at Liveops, Inc., recognized for her work supporting a national client through the company’s Shared Services program. Over the past six months, Lisa maintained a commit rate above 95 percent, participated actively in team sessions, provided guidance to others in community channels, and was noted for her product knowledge and calm approach.

Lisa began working with Liveops in November 2023. “I feel like I’ve been here longer, because I’m so comfortable and happy,” she said. Her experience with remote work dates back to 1990 when she started a home-based business representing office furniture and cabinetry manufacturers. She later worked in call centers between 2011 and 2016 before finding this opportunity online. “I didn’t know what I was applying for, but I took a chance. I’m so glad I did,” Lisa said.

Currently part of Shared Services, Lisa is known for her preparedness. Her motto is: “Be ready.” She explained her approach: “I picture myself like a morning show host. The director’s counting down—3, 2, 1—and I’m on. That energy helps me be present, no matter what kind of call I’m taking.” She added that listening is essential: “You learn to stop talking and truly hear the person on the other end. That’s how you build trust—even in just a few minutes.”

Lisa handles various types of calls including emergency response overflow, insurance inquiries, and product support.

Outside of work, Lisa enjoys chocolate ice cream and dark chocolate treats. She credits her grandmother Pearl as an inspiration: “We didn’t have much, but we had everything we needed to live a good life,” Lisa reflected.

Her favorite travel destinations include fishing villages along Ecuador’s Pacific coast such as Playa de Los Frailes and Santa Marianita. She appreciates storytelling across media and lists The Way We Were, Ted Lasso, and To Have and Have Not among her favorites.

If given the chance to have lunch with anyone from history or culture, Lisa would choose Eleanor Roosevelt and Elizabeth Taylor for their wisdom and individuality.

Aimee Matolka is senior manager of Agent Experience at Liveops. Along with her team she works closely with agents to develop practices that help independent home business owners succeed.

“Congratulations again to Lisa on winning agent of the month!”
