Noah and Nick, the central characters of the Spanish-language “Culpables” trilogy, will return in the final film, “Culpa Nuestra” (Our Fault), which premieres October 16 on Prime Video. The trilogy, based on Mercedes Ron’s best-selling books set in the U.S., has drawn a global audience with its depiction of a complicated relationship between two young people from wealthy families.

Nicole Wallace and Gabriel Guevara star as Noah and Nick. The story follows their intense connection, which is complicated by their parents’ marriage, making them stepsiblings. This dynamic has been a central tension throughout the films. As described, “the sexy attraction between the two is instantaneous and undeniable, despite their differences. Bickering turns into flirting, with Nick adoringly nicknaming Noah ‘Freckles.’ There’s just one problem: Noah’s mom Rafaella (Marta Hazas) is newly married to Nick’s billionaire dad William (Iván Sánchez).”

In the first film, “Culpa Mia” (My Fault), their parents attempt to keep them apart once they learn about the relationship. The second installment, “Culpa Tuya” (Your Fault), follows Noah’s transition to college and Nick’s work at his father’s law firm, introducing new characters and challenges to their romance. Secrets about both families further complicate their connection.

“Culpa Nuestra” takes place years after “Culpa Tuya.” Noah is now graduating from college and appears to have moved on with her life and career. Nick has become the heir to his grandfather’s business empire and is in a relationship with Sofia (Gabriela Andrada), his childhood friend. The two are brought back together at the wedding of mutual friends Jenna (Eva Ruiz) and Lion (Víctor Varona), forcing them to confront unresolved feelings.

The trilogy is part of Prime Video’s October lineup, which also includes other new films, series, and sports programming.

Prime members have access to additional benefits such as early ticket purchasing for select movie releases on Fandango. This month, members can buy tickets for an early screening of “Wicked: For Good,” ahead of its theatrical release.

Another series based on a best-selling book, “Maxton Hall” by Mona Kasten, will also premiere its second season exclusively on Prime Video this fall.

Fans can stream all films in the “Culpables” trilogy and other new releases on Prime Video.
