A popular New York City tradition was interrupted two years ago with the disappearance of the iconic $1 cheese slice, leaving a void in the city’s culinary landscape. Seamless, known for its broad selection of New York City restaurant options and deals, has announced the revival of this tradition. From April 22 to May 20, New Yorkers can purchase the renowned $1 cheese slice for pick-up using the Seamless platform. Participating restaurants can be found on SeamlessDollarSlice.com.

The $1 cheese slice has long been an affordable treat and a frequent choice for lunch and late-night snacks in New York City, enjoyed in various casual settings. Howard Migdal, CEO of Grubhub, Seamless’ parent company, remarked, “The $1 cheese slice is more than just pizza—it’s part of the city’s DNA.” Migdal emphasized the significance of the slice to New York’s culture and authentic flavor, expressing pride in reintroducing this element of the city’s food heritage.

To access these slices, customers can visit SeamlessDollarSlice.com and choose from over 40 participating pizzerias across New York’s five boroughs, including Luigi’s Pizza, Rocco Pizza, and 2 Bros. Pizza among others. Seamless limits customers to one order per day, allowing up to five $1 slices per order.

The 2 Bros. Pizza Management Team, serving New Yorkers for more than two decades, stated, “I’ve watched this city change over the years, but nothing beats that look on someone’s face when they fold a hot $1 cheese slice and take that first bite, it never changes.” They see this collaboration with Seamless as a way to celebrate and pass the tradition on to new generations.

In addition to the $1 slice revival, Seamless offers customers attractive deals at some of the city’s top restaurants, including zero delivery and service fees at certain establishments and weekly discounts of up to 50% on orders over $30. Participating restaurants include Di Fara Pizza, Han Dynasty, and Katz’s Delicatessen.

Further details and the full list of participating restaurants and ongoing deals can be found on Seamless.com or the Seamless app. The promotional offer is available for a limited time, subject to availability and other conditions outlined by Grubhub.
