Abu Dhabi’s Technology Innovation Institute (TII) and AI71 have partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to broaden the reach of UAE-developed artificial intelligence models. TII, known for its Falcon series of AI models, collaborates with AI71, a company focused on creating enterprise products. The partnership aims to make these technologies more accessible globally.

The collaboration combines TII’s expertise in large language models, AI71’s proficiency in advanced AI agents, and AWS’s cloud-based services. This integration allows professionals worldwide to access Falcon and other customized AI solutions.

Currently, TII offers several Falcon models through Amazon SageMaker JumpStart, with plans to introduce them on the Amazon Bedrock Marketplace. These models provide scalable solutions across various needs and can be integrated into applications via pay-as-you-go APIs.

AI71’s products are already available on the AWS Marketplace, offering global access. The company will also work with AWS to enhance product development through rapid prototyping.

In addition to expanding the use of AI models, TII and AI71 aim to innovate in privacy tools and cybersecurity using AWS technology. “At TII, we’re committed to pushing the boundaries of applied research,” said Dr. Najwa Aaraj, CEO of TII.

Chiara Marcati from AI71 stated that partnering with AWS helps scale their offerings internationally: “It serves as a catalyst…accelerating innovation.”

Tanuja Randery from AWS highlighted their role in empowering customers across industries while maintaining data control: “By offering Falcon through Amazon Bedrock Marketplace…trained on AWS infrastructure.”

This collaboration positions UAE at the forefront of global AI innovation by leveraging these cutting-edge technologies within secure environments.
