The National Football League (NFL) will return to Prime Video for the fourth season of Thursday Night Football, beginning with a preseason game in August and continuing through January with a Wild Card playoff game. This year’s regular-season schedule includes all 14 teams that made the playoffs last year. The season opens with the Green Bay Packers hosting the Washington Commanders on September 11.
Key matchups on this year’s schedule include divisional games and high-profile contests such as the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles facing the New York Giants, a meeting between the Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions, and reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen leading the Buffalo Bills against the Houston Texans. Other notable games feature an AFC North matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals, as well as an NFC rivalry between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams.
Special events on this year’s slate include a Black Friday Football game featuring the Eagles against the Chicago Bears, and a Christmas Day nightcap where the Denver Broncos will play against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Prime Video is also streaming 21 WNBA games this season, including those featuring Caitlin Clark, A’ja Wilson, and Paige Bueckers.
Pregame coverage for Thursday Night Football begins each week at 7 p.m. ET, with kickoff at 8:15 p.m. ET. The full schedule lists weekly matchups from September through December, concluding with a Wild Card playoff game in January.
Behind-the-scenes coverage is led by Le An Soto, who manages a crew of 300 to deliver live football broadcasts from each game location.
U.S. viewers can watch Thursday Night Football on Prime Video using hundreds of compatible devices worldwide—including desktops, smartphones, tablets, set-top boxes, game consoles, and connected TVs—via Prime Video or its app. Games are also available for online streaming at Amazon.com and on mobile devices via NFL+.
