In a recent survey conducted by Panterra, it was found that over 85 percent of respondents consider experiences and activities an essential part of travel. This reflects a significant interest in exploring destinations more thoroughly. Airbnb has reimagined its Experiences platform, offering activities hosted by locals to help guests discover the best aspects of a city, whether visiting a new place or finding hidden treasures at home.

The survey highlights that travelers, both domestic and international, are particularly interested in certain types of experiences. These include nature, cuisine, arts, and sightseeing. The findings suggest that travelers are eager to try new things and deepen their cultural understanding during their visits.

Airbnb Experiences offers a wide range of options for travelers seeking authentic cultural immersion. Activities such as savoring organic matcha in a traditional tea ceremony or hiking along the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna at sunset provide unique opportunities for unforgettable experiences.

“Airbnb Experiences provide a diverse array of offerings,” states the release. These experiences offer travelers authentic ways to engage with local culture and enrich their journeys.
