Uber Technologies, Inc. honored Peter Boatang, who completed 53,000 deliveries over nearly eight years, the most of all drivers in the D.C. area.

As the top Uber Eats courier in the Washington, D.C. area, Peter has demonstrated his dedication to providing timely and reliable service.

“Peter has been with Uber for nearly eight years and has completed an astounding 53,000 deliveries. His dedication to ensuring that every meal arrives on time and in perfect condition is truly remarkable,” said Camiel Irving, General Manager for Uber Rides, US & Canada, during the award ceremony.

Boatang’s record-breaking achievement underscores the role that dedicated couriers play in the success of Uber Eats.

The recognition was given during an Uber event in October where the company debuted several new safety and accessibility features on their apps which were intended to improve driver and courier safety and improve contractor specific features.

Other drivers recognized during the event included Naveed Aslalm, Joshua Cavallero, Tilahun Semu, and Titus Mbeh.
