Uber has announced a series of themed promotions and events to coincide with the release of a new album by a well-known pop artist. The company is partnering with Best Friends Animal Society to host “Uber Showcats,” a limited-time adoption event in New York City, Los Angeles, and Nashville on October 3.

At these events, attendees will have the opportunity to adopt cats onsite through Best Friends Animal Society in Los Angeles and New York City, as well as through Nashville Humane. Additional activities at the pop-ups include making custom charm jewelry, taking photos in a themed booth, and receiving complimentary items such as cookies and decorative gems.

The adoption events will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at three locations: 410 Lafayette St in New York City, 8495 Melrose Ave in Los Angeles, and 1112 Laurel St in Nashville.

Uber Eats users can also access special offers this week. Customers are eligible for a 12% discount on select orange-colored items across the app’s Grocery & Retail sections by browsing the “orange era essentials” collection. This promotion runs until October 5 at 11:59 p.m. EST and is only available to users who received it directly from Uber. Taxes and fees apply, with additional exclusions listed within the app.

In addition, Uber is offering up to $12 off one Comfort or Comfort Electric ride per rider using the code SHOWBIZ between October 2 at 8 p.m. and October 5 at 12:01 a.m., for rides that begin or end in the United States.

Uber encourages users to check its apps throughout the week for additional themed features related to this campaign.
