Uber has announced its partnership with the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games and Team USA as the official rideshare and on-demand delivery partner. This collaboration aims to facilitate transportation and delivery services during these major sporting events.

Uber will implement its mobility solutions in Los Angeles, optimizing rideshare operations to help stakeholders navigate the city. The company plans to provide tech capabilities, operational practices, and a network of pickup and drop-off locations for a seamless mobility experience.

Uber Eats will manage the on-demand delivery program at the Olympic and Paralympic Village, delivering to athletes during their stay. Additionally, Uber Eats mobile ordering will be available at select venues to enhance spectator experiences.

“We’re honored to partner with LA28 and Team USA,” said Dara Khosrowshahi, CEO of Uber. “The drivers, couriers, and merchants who will show up for visitors and locals are the backbone who make the partnership come together.”

Casey Wasserman, Chairperson and President of LA28, stated that “Mobility is at the heart of what makes the Olympic and Paralympic Games extraordinary.” He added that Uber’s commitment aligns with their vision for an unparalleled Games experience.

As part of this initiative, Uber will offer comprehensive rideshare solutions including cars, bikes, and scooters. The company will also support NBCUniversal’s coverage of both the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games and LA28 Games.

“With its leadership in tech and innovation,” said Mark Marshall from NBCUniversal. “We look forward to collaborating with Uber throughout our extensive coverage.”

Los Angeles has previously hosted the Olympics in 1984 and 1932 but will host its first Paralympic Games in 2028. The event is organized by a nonprofit funded through corporate partnerships among other sources.
