Chris Sing, an Amazon Flex driver and YouTuber, described Amazon Flex as a “solid choice” after documenting a day in the life of delivering packages. In his YouTube video posted on November 29, 2024, Sing reported on miles driven and earnings.

“One advantage of doing Amazon Flex compared to the other apps is you can schedule it. You can do it before or after work,” said Sing, according to YouTube. “Level 2 Flex Drivers have reserved blocks, preferred scheduling, 2% cashback on every gas purchase, a lot of cool perks. We did a 2.5 hour Flex block in 2 hours, but we got paid for 3 hours. Compared to other delivery apps, Amazon Flex is a solid choice.”

Sing’s video, titled “Is Amazon Flex The Best Paying Delivery App?” compared Amazon Flex to other delivery platforms such as Uber, Grubhub, DoorDash, and Instacart. He shared his personal experience with an Amazon Flex delivery, providing insights into the earnings, workload, and overall experience with the platform. He said that drivers are compensated based on the number of packages delivered and the time taken.

According to Sing’s YouTube video, a significant advantage of Amazon Flex is the ability for drivers to choose their own delivery blocks, offering greater control over their schedules. This flexibility contrasts with other apps that may offer less autonomy in scheduling.

The Amazon Flex website states that drivers can earn between $18 and $25 per hour depending on factors such as location, tips, and delivery efficiency.

Sing mentioned he earned $29.25 per hour during a 3-hour block shift that he completed in 2 hours. He also noted that Level 2 Flex drivers have access to “cool perks” through the Amazon Flex Rewards program. These include various discounts such as fuel discounts which help reduce expenses associated with deliveries.

Chris Sing is identified as both an Amazon Flex delivery driver and a social media influencer on his YouTube channel.
