Fiverr has joined forces with Bukayo Saka, an English soccer player with the Arsenal Football Club who praised Fiverr's dedication to diversity, equity and inclusion by making opportunities available to anyone.
According to a news release from Fiverr, Saka will kick off the partnership with the company through the promotion of videos that will include a look at some of his own endeavors as well as those of several British businesses that also have teamed with Fiverr.
“Fiverr is a company that has created so many opportunities for people of all backgrounds to help build their businesses, careers and make their ambitions a reality,” Saka said in the news release. “I’m happy to be working together with Fiverr, working to amplify the message around equality, inclusion and diversity and I hope with this partnership I can encourage a lot more people to have the confidence to build the future of their dreams.”
Moreover, according to the news release, Saka has expressed an interest in assisting freelancers make their dream a reality and sees Fiverr as a path toward making that goal a reality.
According to the news release, Fiverr UK Country Manager Bukki Adedapo noted that as an athlete, Saka can stand as an inspiration for equality.
“We are absolutely thrilled to be partnering with him,” Adedapo said in the news release. “Over the coming months, we’ll be helping him to build a community program that will give him a platform to continue the great work that he's already doing."
Adedapo also offered a look at Fiverr’s mission and how it aligns with that of the soccer star.
“Our purpose at Fiverr is to create opportunities for anyone to grow their own business, brand or dreams regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or socio-economic background,” Adedapo said in the news release. “With Saka’s own commitment to championing equality in sport, we hope together we can level the playing field and encourage anyone to make their business dreams a reality.”
Fiverr taps a number of different talents by enhancing the platform to work for individuals. The company noted that entrepreneurs can start using Fiverr to kick off and grow their business ideas.
The company also noted in its release that more than 4 million customers used Fiverr to connect with freelancers over the last year and its pool covers 160 countries and more than 550 work options, including digital marketing, content creation, video animation, programming and other areas.
