if a rider takes on of the scooters onto a sidewalk, where usage is prohibited, an alert will sound, indicating that they are in violation of the rules. Additionally, the scooters have the ability to report the rider's actions. The scooter is also equipped with turn signals, front and rear lights, dual brake handles, a longer battery life and a phone holder with charging capabilities.

According to Dominick Tribone of Lyft, the scooters are equipped with other more advanced features.

“They also have an AI box that has computer vision and is constantly observing the streets and the other places that people are riding,” Tribone said, according to NBC4 Washington.
