Prime Video is expanding its live sports offerings in 2025, bringing a variety of sporting events to its platform. This year marks the debut of NASCAR and the NBA on Prime Video, adding to its already diverse lineup that includes the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), Premier Boxing Champions (PBC), Major League Baseball (MLB) with the New York Yankees, ONE Championship, and more.

Most live sports content is available as part of a Prime subscription, which costs $14.99 per month or $139 annually. There are discounted rates for young adults and qualifying government assistance recipients. A free trial option is also available.

The NWSL kicks off its second season on Prime Video with the Challenge Cup starting March 7, followed by regular-season games featuring top stars like Marta and U.S. Women’s National Team players Sophia Smith and Mallory Swanson.

Premier Boxing Champions will feature Sebastian Fundora defending his world titles against Chordale Booker on March 22. "The action streams exclusively on Prime Video for all Prime members in the United States and select countries," according to a company announcement.

ONE Championship continues its partnership with monthly fight nights on Prime Video, including ONE Fight Night 29 where Allycia Hellen Rodrigues will defend her title against Marie McManamon.

In MLB, the New York Yankees will have 21 games streamed at no additional cost to eligible regions such as New York State and parts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The YES Network team will produce these broadcasts.

Prime Video will stream five consecutive NASCAR Cup Series races starting May 25 with the Coca-Cola 600 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

WNBA games return in May with an expanded schedule set to be released later this year.

Thursday Night Football concluded its third season on Prime Video but will return later in 2025 with new AI-powered features enhancing the viewing experience.

NBA fans can look forward to watching regular-season games starting October, along with postseason tournaments like SoFi NBA Play-In Tournament through Prime Video's partnership deal covering six out of eleven years.

Select Seattle Kraken NHL games are available for streaming in Washington state, Oregon, and Alaska. Basketball enthusiasts can also catch Overtime Elite games exclusively on the platform throughout their season.

With these additions, Amazon aims to provide comprehensive access to major sports leagues worldwide through its streaming service.
