Uber has announced a measure to aid recovery efforts following the recent tornadoes in St. Louis. The company is providing free rides, capped at $50 each way, to and from the Disaster Assistance Center at Saint Louis University's Chaifetz Arena.

The service will be available during specific dates when the center is open: June 9-12, June 16-18, and June 23-26, between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM CT. Riders can use the promo code "STLRELIEF2025" for two trips that either start or end at this location.

To claim the offer, users should open the Uber app, navigate to Account, select Wallet, scroll down to Promotions, and enter the promo code. The discount applies only if the promo code is added before requesting a ride.

Uber stated that "additional details may be released as Uber works with community officials on recovery efforts." Each ride can receive a maximum discount of $50 while supplies last. This offer expires on June 30, 2025. It is important to note that driver earnings will remain unaffected by this promotion.
