Airbnb is launching a series of exclusive fan experiences in Chicago as part of its first global live music partnership during Lollapalooza. These curated Airbnb Experiences are designed to enhance the festival experience for guests, offering unique opportunities such as access to an on-site lounge, the Airbnb Haven.

The experiences include a VIP makeup session led by Jill Powell, a celebrity makeup artist known for her work with stars like Demi Lovato and Olivia Holt. Participants can also join Ann-Marie Hoang, a stylist for artists such as Rihanna and Beyoncé, for a styling session that encourages bold self-expression through fashion.

Photography enthusiasts can learn from Paul Octavious, who will host a crash course in capturing festival fashion alongside an iconic drag performer. DJ Lady D will offer an intimate masterclass on DJing within the vibrant atmosphere of the Airbnb Haven.

These experiences aim to attract both locals and visitors during Lollapalooza. Airbnb reports that Chicago residents make up the majority of guest stays during this year's festival. The company also notes a 36 percent increase in searches for accommodations by groups of three or more travelers compared to last year, along with a 60 percent rise in interest from Gen Z guests.

Airbnb highlights the economic benefits of hosting during events like Lollapalooza. In 2024, local hosts and guests generated over $42.5 million for Chicago's economy and supported nearly 400 jobs. Hosts earned over $6 million collectively, demonstrating the significant impact on local communities beyond traditional tourist areas.
