Summer travel is underway, and Uber has introduced several new features to assist travelers throughout the season. The company aims to enhance convenience for those traveling by air or road, as well as those staying in hotels.

Uber Rent is expanding its car delivery service to 15 more cities, making it available in 24 cities across the United States. This service allows users to have rental cars delivered directly to their location, eliminating the need for trips to rental lots.

For air travelers, Uber Share is now available at more airports. This option lets passengers share rides with another traveler and save up to 20% on fares compared to UberX. The service has expanded to over 40 additional airports worldwide, including major U.S. cities like Boston and Chicago, as well as international locations such as Paris and Zurich.

Uber Eats has upgraded its hotel delivery options, offering more flexibility for food drop-offs. Customers can now choose between meeting couriers in hotel lobbies or having orders delivered directly to their rooms.

The company's reach into suburban areas continues with the expansion of reliable ride services where public transit options are limited. Since January, hundreds of new suburban markets have been launched globally. Additionally, Uber's Reserve Airport Pickup will be available at 70 more airports this summer.

Delta SkyMiles American Express Card Members have a special offer beginning June 26th: a limited-time monthly statement credit for an Uber One membership if paid with an eligible card by June 25th, 2026.

Finally, after a successful debut in New York City airports, Uber Shuttle has expanded to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. In collaboration with Away, some riders in New York City may receive complimentary luggage during select weekends this summer.
