Airbnb has announced a special promotion in conjunction with Malaysia's 60th Malaysia Day, offering selected stays across the country for RM60 per night. The offer is available for one-night bookings on September 16 and can be reserved starting immediately.

The promotion includes six Airbnb homes located in various destinations throughout Malaysia, such as Kelantan, Melaka, Terengganu, and Cameron Highlands. Each property highlights different aspects of the country's landscapes and culture.

Amanpreet Bajaj, Airbnb’s General Manager of Southeast Asia, India, Hong Kong and Taiwan said, “Malaysia Day is the perfect occasion to come together with loved ones to celebrate the country. This year, we are once again partnering with Airbnb’s community of wonderful Hosts to make this celebration ever more memorable. With these special RM60 stays, we hope to encourage everyone to rediscover and explore home this special weekend, and create lasting memories with family and friends.”

Among the featured accommodations is Sera Villa near Teluk Chempedak beach in Kuantan. The villa offers modern design elements combined with coastal surroundings and is suitable for groups or families.

Another option is STAY @ Marina Island Pangkor Lumut, which provides guests access to water sports and local cuisine close to Marina Island Resort. Visitors can also explore nearby attractions like Pangkor Island or sample food in Sitiawan and Lumut towns.

Willow Beach House in Bachok gives travelers direct access to sandy beaches and sea views through its open floor plan.

In Terengganu, Teratak Sekuchi allows guests to experience life in a fishing village with rustic wooden decor. The house offers ocean views from its patio and proximity to local beaches.

For those seeking a highland retreat, a kampung house in Kuala Terla within Cameron Highlands is available. Guests can enjoy mountain air from the balcony and visit nearby tea plantations such as Cameron Valley Tea Plantation.

Rimba Jonker on Jonker Street in Melaka offers accommodation within a World Heritage Site. The historic shophouse features a courtyard and private pool for relaxation.

The RM60 rate applies only for one-night stays on Malaysia Day at these specific properties.
