Grubhub has launched a new feature called Grubhub Snooze Insurance, aimed at college students who miss their late-night food deliveries. According to the company, 72% of college students have reported missing a late-night delivery during their college years.

The Snooze Insurance program is available exclusively to Grubhub+ Student members. Students who miss their delivery can receive a $15 promo code for a replacement meal by texting “DELIVERY” to a designated number every Saturday at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET. The offer is available on a first-come, first-served basis through November 1 and requires a minimum order of $15.

Christopher Krautler, Director of Grubhub Consumer Communications and Brand Marketing, said, “We know the drill: students get a late-night craving, place their Grubhub order, and then between studying and late-night hangs, the couch wins and sleep sneaks in. Grubhub Snooze Insurance is about understanding that college life runs on its own schedule. If anyone deserves a second chance at getting that midnight fix, it’s students juggling academics, social life, and sleep.”

The Snooze Insurance feature joins other benefits available to Grubhub+ Student members at over 400 partner schools across the country. These include free delivery from off-campus restaurants on eligible orders, discounted priority delivery, 5% credit back on pickup orders off-campus, flexible payment options with or without a meal plan, and exclusive promotions and rewards for campus partners.

Grubhub+ Student membership is free for four years or until graduation. Students can check their school’s participation and sign up at grubhub.com/about/campus.

For further updates on student offerings from Grubhub, information is available through the company’s social media channels on X, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
