Sponsored content — Hitch, a new ride-hail company, has launched in Florida.

"Friends and family who are flying in from other states also now have a convenient and affordable option to get from major airports to nearby cities within Florida," Hitch Co-Founder and CEO Kush Singh said in a press release. "Couple this with the ability to deliver packages the same day and many people's holiday season is going to be a lot easier this year."

According to the press release, trips with Hitch that are over 50 miles are generally five times less expensive than using Lyft or Uber. Hitch is also offering same-day delivery at costs on average of 10 times less than using FedEx or UPS. There's also the option to book travel up to 60 days in advance, and rides can be scheduled up to one hour before needed. Airport pickup and drop-off services are available as well.

"We will pick you up, or drop you off at any of the major airports in the cities we service," Hitch recently said in its blog. "Airport rides are set up as private cars through Hitch Premier. Actual pickup and drop-off location within the airport complex will take place in the rideshare pick-up area."

Hitch has more than 60 route services across Texas, Oklahoma and Florida. The services can be booked through the Hitch Mobile App, which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Web booking is also available for individuals who prefer using their computers, but it is also recommended that they download the app before the ride to have access to any information about their driver.

"In the past, customers booked rides solely through our mobile app," according to the Hitch website. "You can now book with us through book.ridehitch.com to travel with us to any of our serviced cities."

Drivers can view their earnings at different departure times for that day and find which fits their travel schedule.
