Healthy grocery store Sprouts Farmers Market is expected to expand its nationwide on-demand grocery delivery through the additional 380 stores to DoorDash starting in Arizona.
As one of the largest and fastest-growing specialty retailers of organic, fresh and natural food in the United States, Sprouts Farmers Market becomes more accessible to consumers thanks to DoorDash marketplaces in select locations.
“We are excited to respond to customer demand for fast, convenient delivery of our high-quality better-for-you products that you can’t find anywhere else,” Nick Konat, President and Chief Operating Officer of Sprouts, said. “By partnering with DoorDash, more people will be able to access our uniquely healthy assortment and the season’s freshest, most delicious produce,” Yahoo! Finance reported.
Shanna Prevé, Vice President of Business Development at DoorDash, expressed the company's excitement about the partnership "to offer a new and convenient way for consumers to access all the natural and organic foods they desire delivered directly to their doorstep. Prevé says that with the partnership they "want to help give consumers time back in their day to do what they love most, while still being able to get all their favorite good-for-you food and products delivered exactly when they need them.”
Consumers of healthy food will now be able to order various fresh, natural and organic products from Sprouts Farmers Market through the DoorDash mobile app or website. Delivery options including same-day and future-date scheduling are just some of the many features of DoorDash that will make on-demand delivery a breeze. After the rollout in Phoenix, Arizona, Sprouts will expand this month to other locations where DoorDash is available for on-demand delivery.
Organic foods, local farm-fresh produce, keto-friendly, gluten-free, vegan and plant-based items are among the more than 20,000 Sprouts products that may be delivered through the DoorDash marketplace.
