Starbucks is going national with DoorDash delivery option

This month, customers will be able to receive delivery services from Starbucks Corp. (NASDAQ:SBUX), which has expanded its collaboration with DoorDash (DASH) to offer delivery services in all 50 states.

The expansion follows a successful pilot program that was carried out in Atlanta, Houston and Sacramento, as well as subsequent market expansions that took place in Seattle, Portland and New York City in the previous year. 

DoorDash is the most widely used local commerce network in the United States. It serves as a delivery platform for improved access to Starbucks locations across the country. The company now offers nearly all of the fundamental menu items that are available at Starbucks, along with the same choices for personalization.

Also, the company has developed various packaging solutions in order to guarantee the quality of both hot and cold menu items. These solutions include tamper-evident packaging, delivery-specific cup holders and stickers for beverages that prevent them from spilling.

Starbucks Corporation is an American multinational chain of coffeehouses and roastery reserves headquartered in Seattle, according to Wikipedia. It is the world's largest coffeehouse chain. As of November 2021, the company had 33,833 stores in 80 countries, 15,444 of which were located in the United States, according to Wikipedia.

DoorDash Inc. is an American company that operates an online food ordering and food delivery platform, according to Wikipedia. The company is based in San Francisco. It went public in December 2020.
