Fiverr, the online platform for freelance services, has announced the inclusion of verified tax professionals in its service offerings. These professionals, comprising licensed Certified Public Accountants (CPAs), enrolled agents, financial consultants, and tax attorneys, bring their expertise to assist businesses in adhering to and navigating federal, state, and foreign tax regulations.
In its 2024 Winter Product Release, Fiverr expanded its consulting category by introducing freelance tax consultants. The platform currently boasts over 8,000 consultants offering more than 90 services. In 2023 alone, Fiverr provided personalized solutions to over 300,000 customers worldwide. According to a press release by Fiverr, businesses can now access these freelance tax consultants alongside other industry services.
"We're excited to offer another option to American businesses as they prepare for their tax deadline," said Yoav Hornung, head of verticals and innovation at Fiverr. He added that "Access to these vetted tax professionals will be yet another way that Fiverr helps ease complex processes for businesses. Fiverr offers a variety of services from a diverse pool of freelancers with project-based pricing. Payment is only required upon satisfaction with the delivered work. The platform also provides round-the-clock customer support for any assistance needed. According to the Fiverr webpage, the platform's services span graphics and design, digital marketing, writing and translation, video and animation, music and audio, programming and tech, business-related tasks lifestyle tasks data analysis and photography among others. Additionally,Fiverr Pro gives access to top freelancers and professional tools while Fiverr Certified facilitates the creation of branded marketplaces featuring certified experts. For larger organizations requiring more comprehensive solutions, Fiverr Enterprise offers a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution for managing freelance teams.
