According to Uber Newsroom, the company will design, implement, and optimize its rideshare operations across Los Angeles to facilitate smooth transportation for athletes, spectators, and staff during the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Uber plans to utilize its advanced mobility technology, including a network of pickup and drop-off locations, to improve connectivity between venues throughout the city and region. The company will work closely with LA28 organizers and transportation partners to provide operational expertise and multi-modal solutions such as cars, bikes, and scooters.

The press release from Uber Newsroom further explains that Uber Eats will operate an on-demand delivery program for athletes residing in the Olympic and Paralympic Village. This service aims to offer convenient access to meals and essentials during their stay. Additionally, Uber will introduce in-venue mobile ordering at select locations through the Uber Eats platform, allowing spectators to order food and beverages seamlessly.
