Fiverr announced its 7th Annual Freelance Economic Impact Report conducted with Illuminas. The report reveals that cities in Florida lead the United States in freelancer population and revenue growth.

According to the report, data from sources like the U.S. Census Bureau were used to assess the scale and expansion of the freelance workforce across key markets. In top U.S. cities like Orlando, Miami, and Tampa, freelancer populations and earnings are surging, with major city-based freelancers earning on average $4,334 more annually compared to the national average of $43,954. Freelancers are increasingly utilizing AI tools to boost productivity, saving an average of 8.1 hours per week, particularly in technical services and among Gen Z and Millennials.
