Amazon has announced its commitment to supporting families with a comprehensive parental leave policy. The company offers up to 20 weeks of fully paid leave for birthing parents, which includes four weeks prior to the birth. Supporting and adoptive parents are eligible for up to six weeks of fully paid leave.

Additionally, Amazon's Leave Share program allows employees to transfer six weeks of their paid parental leave to a spouse or partner whose employer does not offer paid leave. This initiative is part of Amazon's efforts to provide flexibility and support during the transition back to work after welcoming a new child.

The Ramp Back program provides flexible scheduling and part-time options for employees returning from parental leave. Eligibility for these benefits requires one year of continuous service and a regular schedule of at least 30 hours per week before the child's arrival.
