This move integrates Visa Cloud Connect and Amazon Payment Cryptography (APC) on AWS, establishing a new industry standard in mobility payments.
The shift to AWS enables XXImo to ensure scalability, heighten security, and improve operational efficiency, aligning with the payment industry's broader trend towards cashless systems. The transition reduces hardware reliance, thereby decreasing maintenance costs and enhancing performance. As global business travel expenditure is projected to exceed $2 trillion USD by 2028, XXImo's cloud-first approach positions the company to meet the demands of modern businesses effectively.
XXImo is an early adopter of Visa Cloud Connect, which integrates directly and securely with Visa, allowing an expansion of mobility payment capabilities. Moreover, the use of APC transitions from hardware-based encryption to a cloud-native model, optimizing cost efficiency while adhering to high security standards.
The transition was executed alongside AWS, Visa, and CloudNation, all of whom were crucial in supporting the transformation.
